About me

From the beginning of my ophthalmological practice I had the opportunity to deal with complex cases and in view of the country's needs to have a subspecialist in ophthalmological imaging, I was awarded a scholarship by the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS - CENDEISSS) to perform the sub specialty in Ocular Ultrasound and Ophthalmological Imaging at the National Institute of Ophthalmology in Lima, Peru. With these studies, I acquired the necessary skills to interpret cases of complex ophthalmological pathologies and become the only subspecialist in Ocular Ultrasound in the country.
