About me

I studied medicine because I have been always interested in knowing how the human body works. I wanted to work in the area of medical research but when I started my internship I became convinced that the clinical part was what fascinated me; I discovered that what fills me is to care for people and help them.
Upon completion of General Medicine, I decided to lean towards a more clinical specialty, such as Geriatrics and Gerontology. This is because this specialty has to do with the functional, psychological and social aspects of the elderly, which gives me the opportunity to provide a more comprehensive care. I feel an affinity for the elderly in large part because I grew up with my grandparents and great uncles.
