The Otorhinolaryngology consultation consists of the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ears, nose and throat, as well as benign and malignant tumors of the neck. Tests to assess hearing and endoscopy of the ears, nose, paranasal sinuses, pharynx and larynx are used as diagnostic complements.
I have carried out my professional training at the University of Costa Rica, where I graduated as a General Physician in 2002 and studied the Specialty in Otorhinolaryngology from 2006 to 2010 at the Hospital México. From 2010 to date I have worked at the Hospital México de la CCSS as a Specialist Physician in the Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Service; I am also part of the Skull Base Surgery Unit, where tumors are treated endoscopically in conjunction with the Neurosurgery Service. I initially developed my private ENT practice at the Zahha Clinic and at the La Católica Hospital. Currently I am in private practice at the Infinitum Hospital Complex in La Uruca, San José. I am an undergraduate professor of Medicine and Surgery at the UCR and UCIMED; in addition to being a professor at the SEP-UCR of the ENT and CCC Postgraduate Program at Hospital México.
